Job Overview:
Responsible to install and/or maintain all functions of operations within the company as directed by management. Including, but not limited to, machine maintenance, installation and repair, all the while focusing on safety and quality of our product to the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery
- Install new machines, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical and mechanical
- Request parts, as needed, for repair and or installation
- Troubleshoot electrical problems
- Produce new parts / fixtures using various shop tools and supplies
- Fill in for the Maintenance Manager in his absence.
Qualifications:
- Hands on work with electrical, handling equipment from 500 volts down
- Work with electronic equipment including changing drives, controllers, starters, ect
- Work with repair of electronic equipment
- Welding, cutting and fabrication of parts, tools and fixtures
- Lathe, milling machine, drills and other power tool experience
- Plumbing layout and installation
- Millwright work including setting of new machinery
- Mechanical experience, including but not limited to, greasing, changing bearings, replacing worn parts, etc.
