Kiraly Tool and Die, Inc. has an immediate opening for a second Machine Shop Estimator for a full-time, day shift position. We have very specific requirements for this position so please read the entire job description below before applying. We offer the area's most competitive wages, benefits and a modern machining environment. Wage for this position typically range from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending upon your specific experience. There is no cap on wage. The office environment and shop area are a team atmosphere. We have modern office and shop machinery.
Job Description:
Calculate material, set-up time, machinist labor and machine time for a variety of machined parts and fabrications (for our customers that outsource general and precision machine work)
Calculate design time, labor and material for jigs and fixtures (for our customers that run production)
Calculate design time, labor and material for stamping dies (for our customers that run production)
Use existing Excel spreadsheets and/or CADCAM software to estimate machining time
Email quotations to customers using Shoptech software
Correspondence with suppliers and customers is routine
Estimating is for both of our facilities, located in Youngstown
Review performance reports of completed jobs for comparison against quotations
Requirements: An estimating background is preferred but not mandatory. Must have Excel and CADCAM experience. A minimum of (10) years of diverse machine shop and/or tool and die experience is required. A journeyman's certificate is not required if you possess the equivalent in experience. WorkKeys certification is preferred and NIMS credentials are a plus. We are a drug-free facility. WorkKeys testing and drug testing (both provided locally) will be mandatory prior to hiring. There is a 30-day probationary period.

Health insurance is Medical Mutual. Employee contribution is 25% of the monthly premium, deducted in (2) equal payments before taxes. Begins after 30-day probationary period. Dental and vision benefit are available through Humana.

(1) week paid vacation after (1) year of full-time employment, (2) weeks after (5) years, and (3) weeks after (10) years.
401k plan with 100% company match up to 3% of employee contribution.
We offer overtime when it is available. Maximum overtime is (55) hours per week, consisting of (10) hours on Monday thru Friday and (5) hours on Saturday.
Other: Kiraly Tool and Die, Inc. was established in October of 1999. Currently we have (20) full time employees operating on one shift. We have never laid-off an employee due to lack of work. Product does not leave our facility without being inspected for dimensional and cosmetic characteristics.
