Mama and Me Photography Spa is in search of a caring, mama and baby focused, insured LMT.
Principle duties include:
-Perform 30/60/90 minute prenatal and postnatal massage therapy sessions.
-Follow specifically designed routine for sessions, training provided.
-Maintain professionalism by adhering to ethics as outlined in job description.
-Maintain cleanliness of therapy room and common areas.
-Make notation of session in client folder.
-Be able to work independently when needed, checking clients in and out.
-Be able to work on location, when needed.
-Be able to work weekends, when needed.
Position requirements:
-Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations.
-Must provide proof of licensure and liability insurance. (ABMP Preferred)
-Knowledge of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal Massage and chair massage preferred. Specific routine training in prenatal and chair massage provided.
-Possess a good work ethic maintaining professionalism, tardiness not tolerated.
-Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
-Maintain cleanliness of self, clean appropriate length nails, no perfume or smoke odor on clothing as it disrupts the experience while working in close proximity to clients.
-Black scrubs are preferred and provided.
-Understands and believes in the positive benefits of massage therapy and bodywork yet adheres to ethical standard of not diagnosing or treating any disease or condition.
-Able to work flexible days and weekend and varying hours.
-Provide resume: schooling, background, interests, and philosophy (why do you enjoy providing massage therapy)
-Must sign independent contractor agreement with non compete clause.
Terms and Conditions:
-$20.00 per hr starting; potential for hourly increase after 30 days.
-Per diem position; begin as an independent contractor; responsible for individual income taxes with the opportunity to become a payroll employee.
-We have a friendly clientele that are easy to work with.
-Supplies provided, no out of pocket expenses.
-We provide one uniform (via Life Uniform in Southern Park Mall).
-Social media kit provided for promotion.
-Professional headshots provided.
