Line Leader (Glass Manufacturing)

The Line Leader (Glass Manufacturing) is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of a production line in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role drives safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance while leading continuous improvement initiatives and developing a high-performing team culture.The Line Leader (Glass Manufacturing) WILL:Lead and coordinate production, maintenance, quality, and support teams to achieve operational goals.Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety, quality, GMP, and audit requirements.Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to improve performance.Partner with shift leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure consistency across all shifts.Support employee development, training, and team engagement.Lead problem-solving efforts and process improvement projects to optimize plant operations.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and labor agreements.The Line Leader (Glass Manufacturing) SHOULD HAVE:Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and problem-solving techniques.Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving operational performance.Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building skills.Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
