Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America)Summary: This position is responsible for operating machinery and could include ongoing production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.Tasks: Applicants will be considered for any machine operator-type opening. Tasks include, but are not limited to, forming, marinating, slicing, grinding, mixing, oven operation, assembling and dismantling equipment, mobile equipment operation, lock out tag out operation, stacking, inspection. Other tasks in these positions will be to stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat and reach. The team member must be willing and able to lift, carry, push, and pull 20-70 pounds. Candidate must be willing and able to work in the cold (35 to 45 degrees) or damp environments and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. Candidate must be able to work overtime and weekends. Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.Requirements: Applicants must show at least 6 months of work history with one employer within the last 24 months.
