Leidos is seeking an Entry Level Software Developer to support Post Production Software Support (PPSS) and Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) engineering and technical services to the CECOM Software Engineering Center Mission Command Division based in Aberdeen MD with operations located Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, Ft. Sill/Lawton, OK., and on the Research Campus of the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK.
Successful candidates will support our customer in creating capabilities and providing technical services and subject matter expertise in Mission Command, Fires and C2 Maneuver systems. You will provide technical support to the Family of Tactical and Strategic Mission Command systems to include: FBCB2, JCR, JBC-P, FSS, Common Software, BCCS, TSI, GCCS-A, TS3, TDI, CPI2, DCO, TDM, COE v3, CPCE, Command Web, DDS, CPOF, GCCS-A; SICPS and MIP/ACIS as well as the US Army's FIRES Family of Systems including: AFATDS, JADOCS, FOS, FF-Q37, FF-Q36, Centaur LWTFDS, PVM, MMS-P, PFED, LCMR Q50, AN/TQP-53 and LCMR Q49.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software for a variety of engineering applications. Work with analysts to understand their analytic or interface requirements. Assist in developing tools and interfaces. Assist in design, development, and testing of operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications. Assist in setting operational specifications and formulate and analyzing software requirements. Assist in design embedded systems software. Analyze user needs; develop and design software solutions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-Recent Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
-1 year of experience in software development.
-Currently have or ability to maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
-U.S. Citizenship required.
-Relocation Assistance is not available.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Familiarity with CECOM Software Engineering Center Post Production Software Sustainment (PPSS) processes a plus
-Experience working in an AGILE environment utilizing tools such as JIRA, BitBucket, Bambo.
-JAVA experience a plus
-Experience with Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data Systems (AFATDS) or Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS)
