We are hiring a senior AWS Architect responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software and cloud solutions for next generation applications. The AWS Architect will also be responsible for providing technical leadership within the organization.

• Be highly involved in the automation and monitoring of cloud infrastructure
• Thrive in a highly collaborative workplace and be regularly engaged in the development process
• Design/develop applications from interpretations of business requirements with an advanced understanding of Open Source development technologies and tools
• Collaborate with others to produce cutting-edge solutions
• Understand and implement object-oriented programming and contemporary design patterns and practices
• Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Build reusable code and libraries
• Develop applications using Java
• Use JIRA and other agile development tools
• Develop and work with Cloud-based technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google, or Azure

• Minimum of 3-5 years creating solutions on various software platforms in an enterprise digital landscape environment
• Knowledge and experience with evaluating and recommending tools, technologies, and other processes to ensure an outstanding product platform
• Knowledge with infrastructure as code tools such as terraform, nomad, packer, ansible and/or chief/puppet, etc.
• Knowledge and experience with Git version control
• Knowledge and experience with the Linux operating system
• Experience providing architectural blueprints and designs
• Experience with integrating multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Experience delivering solutions for various delivery platforms such as mobile and desktop
• Experience with data migration, transformations, and scripting
• Experience implementing front-end technologies and platforms: JavaScript, CSS, React, Angular or Ember
