Banking Risk Management Team LeadJob DetailsLevelExperiencedJob LocationOklahoma City Office - Oklahoma City, OKPosition TypeFull TimeEducation LevelBachelor's DegreeJob CategoryGeneral BusinessDescriptionThe overall goal of a Banking Risk Management Team Lead is to review the work of the Risk Management team and help mitigate Paycom’s client-facing business risks. This position is responsible for the daily execution of client onboarding and oversight of client financial health, as well as any recovery activity required.RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with planning, staffing, managing and developing the Banking Risk Management teams
Directly support and manage specialists within Banking Risk Management
Execute the daily application of Paycom’s Risk Management policy, and make recommendations for changes to department leadership
Maintain and adjust the process for conducting risk assessments and extending funding method decisions, including KYC (“Know Your Customer”) functions
Conduct quantitative analysis for portfolio stress testing and risk concentration limits setting
Research internal and external business challenges and recommend solutions using best practices
Conduct research, gather information and maintain awareness of the business environment, government events and regulatory changes
Evaluate and develop solutions to automate, analyze and establish general effectiveness of processes from an end-to-end standpoint
Participate in external and internal audits of processing systems, operations and policies, including third party processor audits
Develop guidance and provide training on operations-related risk policies and tools
Assist with relationship management of banking partners and external vendors
Investigate potential fraudulent activity and report findings to management and legal
Monitor Net Exposure Report to assess need for follow up
Other duties and projects as assigned
QualificationsEducation / Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, finance, MIS, or other related field required, experience considered in lieu of degree
Certified Treasury Professional, Risk Management and/or Lean Six Sigma certifications preferred
Experience Required:
5+ years of bank operations or corporate treasury experience, 9+ years experience needed in lieu of degree
1+ years of leadership experience
Knowledge of industry standard financial and background checking software
Strong command of project management and process improvement skills
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication and written/oral skills
Strong negotiation skills and ability to have difficult conversations
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications
Advanced knowledge of banking operations, rules and regulations, including third party processor requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines
Strong relationship building skills
Quantitative analysis skills
Work flexible hours (if needed)
Eagerness to continue learning
Ability to prioritize tasks in order of importance
Very detail oriented
