KC-135 Air Vehicle Analysis, a team in Boeing Global Services’ Large Aircraft Modification and Sustainment Team, is currently seeking Entry Level Stress and Design Engineers for the KC-135 program. These positions are located in Oklahoma City, OK. Position responsibilities: Performs limited structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Participates in various test activities substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied. Assists with documentation of structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design. Assists with development, maintenance and modification of payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle. Assists with management of supplier development, test and production activities to optimize the design and achieve program goals. Works under close supervision. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience) : Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry Experience multi-tasking and working in a team environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively to reach decisions that are mutually acceptable to multiple engineering and support teams. Desired Experience, Skills and Qualifications : Experience performing Durability and Damage Tolerance Analysis for Aircraft. Experience executing Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs (ASIP) Experience performing classical hand stress calculations Experience with Finite Element Modeling Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry Typical Education and Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor). Travel: Occasional travel may be required. Relocation Relocation is not available.
