What You’ll Be Doing:Evolent Care Partners (ECP) works directly with primary care organizations across the country to improve patient outcomes and reduce avoidable health care costs. We are a lean, nimble, and fast-paced team looking for innovators and disruptors with a passion for improving health care. Our team is made up of reliable, hard-working employees—each with a commitment to shaping our culture and strategy. This role presents a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an internal start-up and leave your mark on health care.ECP is seeking a dynamic Product Owner to join its Transformation team to solve health care industry problems using technology. Responsibilities are as follows:Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and business strategy leaders to refine and scope Epic and feature backlog

Negotiate priorities with key stakeholders and engineering team to set the delivery expectations.

Assess value, develop use cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy

Assess success of product feature launches using KPIs

Act as a liaison between engineering, product design and business groups

Research and analyze market, the users, and help in evaluating build vs. buy decisions

Follow our competitors and the industry. Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

Provides thought leadership in the areas of strategy and technology

Locate bottlenecks and drive process improvements

The Experience We Prefer:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Ability to work both independently, and as part of a globally distributed team of technical and non-technical colleagues

2+ years of working as a Product Owner/Product Manager for a product development team: Writing user stories, acceptance criteria and following the development process through user story acceptance

2+ years of experience working in Agile product development methodology

6+ product release cycle experience

2+ years of experience with Azure DevOps/JIRA/Confluence (or any similar ALM tools)

Ability to multitask and manage multiple products/projects simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate across multiple channels

HealthCare Domain experience

Experience building/implementing EMR integrated Apps

Technical Requirements:Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.
