Boeing is looking for a Senior Business Operations Specialist, who will provide support across numerous manufacturing business units and the Manufacturing Operations Council (MOC). This role is critical to driving enterprise Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) strategies and ensuring integration between the business units, execution of organizational goals, and continued standardization and improvement of processes. This will based out of one of the following locations: Arlington, VA, Auburn, WA, Berkeley, MO, El Segundo, CA, Everett, WA, Houston, TX, Kent, WA, Long Beach, CA, Mesa, AZ, North Charleston, SC, Oklahoma City, OK, Palmdale, CA, Plano, TX, Portland, OR, Puyallup, WA, Ridley Park, PA, San Antonio, TX, Seal Beach, CA, Seattle, WA, Springfield, VA, Tacoma, WA, and Tukwila, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives, deployment analysis and impact mitigation.
  • Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and develop business case.
  • Supports the coordination of the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies. Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.
  • Meets with leadership to gain approval.
  • Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
  • Ensures follow up action for issue resolution.


This position allows some telecommuting. You will have an office located at one of the listed sites and will be required to travel as business needs require.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management
  • 3+ years of experience in building & presenting plans/recommendations to executive leadership
  • 3+ years of experience collecting data, developing metrics, and conducting trend analysis
  • 3+ years of experience designing organizational management systems and operating rhythms
  • 3+ years of experience with end-to-end project/program management: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring, and project close
  • 3+ years of experience consulting with and presenting to senior and executive leaders
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience with Project Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • Agile Certification


Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:
