Find your future with us. #TheFutureIsBuiltHereBoeing Global Services is currently seeking a Lead Design, Analysis, and Support Engineer to become part of the Structural Design, Analysis, and Support Team in (Oklahoma City, Ok).The Structural Design, Analysis, and Support Team is responsible for the development, integration, analysis and documentation of structural design in support of aircraft sustainment projects.The successful candidate will lead structural analyses, including structural integrity, damage tolerance, fatigue, and strength, using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance. Additionally, the candidate may lead structural design activities including 3-D modeling and analysis. The candidate may also provide senior-level liaison support and perform analysis for aircraft structural repairs. Works under minimal direction.Position Responsibilities:Utilize 3D modeling software for design and analysis of aircraft structure (CATIA V5 or similar software package).

Perform structural analysis, including damage tolerance, fatigue, and strength.

Document and publish/release structural designs and analysis results.

Ability to evaluate complex vehicles and systems from a multitude of perspectives. Includes the ability to apply figures of merit and integrated optimization tools. Ability to perform multi-disciplinary trade studies to evaluate configuration alternatives for functional and spatial integration.

Skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.

Ability to analyze problems (troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, modification, or redesign) of assigned end items to support the design, development and modification of company products using knowledge of engineering disciplines (ME, EE, etc.).

Advanced knowledge of design concepts and techniques (e.g., concurrent engineering, Design for Manufacture/Assembly [DFM/A]).

Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design).

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. (Oklahoma City, Ok).Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

9 years of experience in an engineering role.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):9 years of experience using 3D modeling software (CATIA V5 or similar software package).

9 years of experience aircraft structural analysis.

Typical Education & ExperienceEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
