DescriptionThere is a Tax Preparer vacancy with a firm near the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area. If this sounds of interest to you, you should apply today via Accountemps. Stay up to date with clients to gather significant information/documents
Administer relevant data into Tax software application
Figure and invoice for form preparation fees
Execute other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Respond to incoming client calls to facilitate tax questions and set appointments
Manually produce transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies
Requirements
Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds
3+ years preparing tax returns- Can work independently with minimal supervision
Outstanding data entry skills
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
Solid understanding of analytics
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
