SUMMARY:

The primary job responsibility will be the management of multiple locations for a particular customer account, and of the hourly employees working at those locations. Specific responsibilities include safe work practices and technical training of personnel; work scheduling and standards; conducting site evaluations; proper usage of supplies and equipment, as well as inventory control; labor budget control; troubleshooting/problem solving; customer relations; and special project work as requested. This individual will also ensure that all managed services are being provided in a proper and cost effective manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promote, exemplify, and maintain a safety culture of 0 incidents.

Control expenses and operating budgets within areas of responsibility.

Evaluate and justify supplies, equipment, and purchases as needed.

Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and supervise functions and activities at the account locations.

Establish and maintain effective lines of communications with the client and facility personnel to ascertain that their needs and requirements as related to the custodial contract are being satisfied.

Maintain an environment that is safe, sanitary, attractive, and in orderly condition.

Demonstrate and promote company culture, values and management philosophy.

Demonstrate quality leadership in meeting performance plans.

Required Experience:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

Credentials:

High School Diploma/GED and three to five years of custodial supervisory experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong service/quality attitude.

Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and achieve effective time management.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet established goals and objectives.

Ability to comprehend and maintain budgets for labor and supplies usage.

Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.

Well practiced with technology pertaining to current standard communication methods, as well as ability to easily learn other programs as introduced.

Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines; self-directed.

Motivate and train staff, with strong focus on ensuring superior safety protocols.

Experience managing custodial operations.

Physical Functions Required:

o Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods. Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Possible exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.

A criminal background check, results of which are not necessarily a bar to employment and a drug screen are required.

Hours are Monday-Friday 6am-3:30pm
