Job Description
Oklahoma insurance brokerage has an immediate opening for an office assistant to support the branch office. To be successful in this position you must be a self-starter that needs minimal direction and is willing to take the initiative. This is a 24 hour a week position with the following hours:
Monday 8:30 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday 8:30 5:00 p.m.
Friday 8:30 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls, greet and direct guests
Supports Area Manager with faxing, filing, reports and other support duties as requested.
Works with Area Manager in recruiting and hiring of new agents and certification.
Coordinates Training classes with new agents and home office.
Ordering office and insurance supplies.
Timely checking and processing of applications turned in by agents.
Acts as liaison between branch office and home office.
Maintaining the office.
Job Requirements:
Highly attentive to detail
Ability to lift up to 30lbs
Valid Driver's license and transportation
Excellent Microsoft Office Skills including Excel and Word
Self-starter that needs minimal direction
Problem Solving Skills
Excellent Attendance
Pleasant phone voice.
Must be able to work well with a client population over 65 years of age.
Works well independently
