Concrete Curbing Crew Leader
The Curbing Edge, a local OKC concrete edging and landscape business, is looking for a proactive leader and self-starter who can interact with the public and our employees. This individual must have the knowledge and skill to perform all crew duties. On the job training will be provided, and the length of training time will depend on the individual's ability to learn the skills. The individual must be punctual, possess a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, be able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines, be dependable, and devoted to the success of our company. We are looking for someone who wants a career in Leading and Supervising their own crew(s). Upon completion of job training, the Crew Leader will be responsible for managing the crew in daily operations, installing concrete edging and landscape designs, working in various weather conditions, meeting with customers, and coordinating with the office staff. This person will learn every aspect of the concrete edging business, plus other types of concrete and landscape services.
To the qualified applicant, we offer:
Comp Range $38,000 - $41,000 - year 1
On the job training
Most weekends and holidays off
2 weeks paid vacation (after one year
Specialized training opportunities, including management/leadership
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license, will assist right person to get their CDL
Reliable transportation
Pass drug test and background
Allowed to work in the United States
Can lift 100 lbs
SKILLS
Enjoys working with a team
Has the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Has a positive attitude and is eager to learn how to lead/manage others
Interested in learning artistic concrete techniques
Enjoys physical work and working with their hands
Is self-motivated and excited to be an active participant in company efforts
Motivated to take on challenges with minimal direction
Career minded individual who enjoys working outside
Appreciates the importance of punctuality and adhering to a schedule
Is interested in learning and performing diverse job duties in landscape and concrete
Ambitious individual willing to work hard to do the best they can at any task
**CDL a plus
