Python is currently seeking Mechanics to join our growing team! To be successful in our company, you must have the ability to work on ANY SHIFT anywhere within Python Service Territory. Purpose/Description

• Perform a complete oil change and service/inspection of a minimum of 15-20 pieces of equipment each week. This can be pickups, buckets, digger derricks, track hoes, back hoes, trailers, or any other equipment belonging to the company's fleet department.

• Maintain proper documentation of each unit's maintenance and repair.

• Report any potential hazards, repairs, or damages of each unit inspected or serviced.

• Service and inspect booms and other hydraulic devices as needed on each unit.

• Provide weekly updates to the Supervisor on each unit serviced.

• Mechanic must be willing to travel and perform maintenance onsite (not in a mechanic shop).

• Mechanic must be willing to work off shift hours in order to limit the amount of down time for equipment when crews are working.

• Maintain all DOT regulated vehicles to minimum DOT standards and report any infractions to Supervisor.

• Mechanic must be familiar with DOT standards and regulations.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required for this position.

English Language

Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Public Safety and Security

Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.

Customer and Personal Service

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires good mechanical and ability to work independently. Requires a valid driver's license and current medical examiner's card. Employee will have 90 days from hire date to obtain a minimum of a Class B CDL.

Substance Abuse Policy:

This class is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMSCA) drug and alcohol testing as outlined in 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 382. Python, LLC is a drug free workplace and in addition to the DOT drug and alcohol testing program, they also participate in a random screening for the work place as well.

The company may revise the duties and responsibilities of this position as needed.
