Oklahoma City utility construction contractor is seeking to hire a volumetric concrete mixer operator for work in the OKC metro area.
Duties include operation and maintenance of a volumetric concrete mixer. Calibration of the unit, weighing of materials, safe operation of the unit on public streets and highways, delivery of concrete to customers, completion of required paperwork (delivery tickets, batch tickets, etc.), prep and clean up of the unit for deliveries. Operation of a wheel loader as well as a telescopic forklift to load the unit.
Unit operations and maintenance training will be provided.
REQUIREMENTS:
CLASS A CDL - NO restrictions other than corrective lenses
CLEAN MVR - 0 points
CURRENT DOT MEDICAL CARD
DRUG FREE - this is an FMSCA regulated position, drug testing is required
Background investigation as well as MVR queries will be performed.
The ability to perform general math and simple calculations is a plus.
Knowledge of concrete and concrete mixes is a plus.
