Valet Attendant (Part-Time)Oklahoma - PocolaNewGaming Operations19008136Requisition #9 hours agoPost DateApply for JobShare this JobSign Up for Job AlertsJob Purpose or Objective(s):The Valet Attendant is responsible for parking and delivering casino patron’s vehicles to and from the casino or hotel entrance. Valet Attendants are responsible for the safety of customer’s vehicles at all times. Primary Tasks:
Open the door of the car for the guest in a professional manner at the main entrance of the hotel and assist to unload the luggage if any.
Provide assistance to customers when exiting or entering the vehicle.
Extend warm welcome and appreciation to every guest.
Offer information regarding features of rooms, services of hotel and points of interest.
Drive designated vehicles in a safe & courteous manner following established traffic or transportation procedures.
Check and note any damage to vehicle prior to driving.
Ensure that vehicles are locked and keys are returned to valet.
Retrieve vehicles in a safe and timely manner, opening the doors for guests and thanking them for coming to Choctaw Casinos.
Communicate with dispatchers by radio in order to exchange information and receive requests for passenger. Use two-way radio for communication with other drivers, security, and management.
Observe and report any suspicious activity on Casino Grounds.
Remove or report any obstructions or hazards onCasino grounds/parking lot such as sharp objects, large items, or any other item that could cause damage to vehicles or cause injury to customers.
Perform errands for customers or managers.
Must be familiar with hotel products, events and promotion, selling the hotel to maximize hotel revenue.
Represent Choctaw Casinos in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Be courteous and professional in dealing with customers or other associates.
Follow established procedures and policies of the Choctaw Nation, Choctaw Casinos, and local management.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:MINIMUM
Clear driving record required. No major violations, ((DUI, reckless driving, driving on suspended), no accidents and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
Must be at least 21 years of age
Experience in driving both automatic and standard type transmission vehicles.
Prior experience in public or private transportation preferred.
Must be able to pass DOT physical exam.
