Supervises and assists in all student activities. Maintains order in dorms and accurate student records. Provides individual guidance and oversees housekeeping. Maintains accountability system for each student in compliance with the Department of Labor, Policy Requirement Handbook and the Center Operating Procedures. Serves as a role model for the student in regard to behavior and character.Supervises and assist student in housekeeping chores and maintains a clean, orderly, safe and comfortable dorm atmosphere and appearance. Identifies and intiates work request for building maintenance needs and safety concerns. Maintains an adequate record system including a running log of significant events affecting students. Makes appropriate referrals as needed. Assists in the maintenance of a Social Training Achievement Record (STAR) for each student and promptly identifies special needs. Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No supervisory responsibility.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTHigh school education; or general education degree (GED).EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT One year of experience working with adolescents is preferred.COMPUTER SKILLS An individual should have knowledge of Database software and Word Processing software.
