Senior Cyber Security Architect

The Cyber Security Architect (Senior) is responsible for ensuring that solutions and workloads built and running adhere to Lineage Logistics' cyber security standards. This role is a dynamic role that will require strong technical ability across on-prem and multiple cloud service providers, strong knowledge of information security principles, threats, and mitigation techniques, and strong interpersonal skills. A successful candidate in this role will be able to execute our mission to protect a global, multi-cloud environment, in close collaboration with technology solutions teams and business leaders to ensure that security investments are optimized, and business initiatives are not impacted by security endeavors.

Responsibilities:
• Research, develop, continuously improve and implement security policies, procedures, standards and processes based on compliance requirements and industry best practices.
• Determine technology and process requirements to implement security strategies. Publish and communicate cyber security technology standards to assure architectural consistency in security technologies needed to protect the enterprise.
• Works closely with business and technology stakeholders as a subject matter expert in applications, infrastructure and cloud security, providing cyber security architecture consulting services for projects and key enterprise initiatives such as merger IT integration.
• Serve as an escalation point to research security testing and evaluation results. Research and report on current threats to the company's environment. Publish and communicate enterprise security technology configuration baselines and standards to ensure architectural consistency in security technologies.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge and awareness of industry trends related to cyber security and assess its impact on company operations.
• Conduct technical security risk assessments against industry best practices and benchmarks to determine weaknesses and vulnerabilities. Recommend, implement and integrate information security technologies to mitigate identified risks.
• Support the design of "secure by default" technology environments, including public cloud.
• Supports implementation of cloud security solutions including 3rd party and cloud native capabilities.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Assurance, or similar
• 5-7 years of direct cyber security architecture experience
• 2-3 years of cloud security and security at scale experience
• Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as NGFWs, WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM
• Secure design experience with Identity and Access Management (Active Directory, Okta, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience overcoming workload transition challenges
• Experience building enterprise security strategy for cloud adoption or driving the program's evolution to meet new requirements
• Evidence of the ability to lead effectively across organizations
• Experience working with software development teams
• Understanding of compliance needs and evidence collection
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problems solving skills
• Solid strategic thinking and critical thinking skills
• Preferred at least ONE professional certification or similar:

o CISSP - ISSAP (Information Systems Security Architecture Professional)

o Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

o Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK)

o Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD)

o Cloud Security Automation (GCSA)

o GIAC Defensible Security Architecture (GDSA)

Bonus Points:
• Hands-on technical expertise in building security capabilities in code and deploying infrastructure in code
• Strong scripting skills, i.e., PowerShell, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.
• Experience with Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments at scale
• Securing Operational Technology (OT) environments
