Job Summary: The Health Information Technician is responsible for a
variety of health information/medical records processes that must be
completed in compliance with SFHS Policies/Procedures/Agreements,
Federal, State, TJC, and other related Regulatory agencies.Education: High School Diploma or GED.Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.Work Experience: 3 - 4 years related experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be able to input a Minimum of
6,000 KPH with a 6% or less error rate on the Data Entry Test.
Demonstrate excellent customer relations, telephone and organization
skills. Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient
manner.
