We have a specialty facility that is actively looking for a team member who is a motivated and experienced self-starter! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of office and/or hospital based orthopedic coding and be a Certified Professional Coder.
This position requires great attention to detail and critical thinking to code office visits, hospital consults and operative reports as well as track and resolve missing charges. Coders are also responsible for assisting A/R staff with denial and appeal resolution when related to coding issues. Preferably, candidate would work in the office for at least the first six months of employment with consideration for remote work after.
