QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR $17-$22

The Quality Assurance Inspector has the responsibility to inspect, accept, or reject work performed in a particular discipline in compliance with applicable codes and specifications.

Actively support the company’s commitment to safety and its values. Responsible to observe and follow all safety procedures and regulations. Perform inspections and witness tests as required. Prepare reports and quality records in compliance with procedures. Keeping up to date on all code endorsed inspection stamps and meet the standards of today’s industry. Assist the QA Manager with making sure all books are up to date. Communicate with management team including production, engineering, and applications with regard to quality and spec issues and recommendations.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role uses standard office equipment. Regular trips to shop and warehouse for observation and research are also required.

When in the manufacturing facility, all employees are required to wear personal protective equipment to include/hearing protection, and safety glasses with side shields. Protective toe boots are not required when employee is in designated walkways in the plant.

The employee might occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.

Regularly, may be required to visit the shop that is a non-temperature-controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles that are usually associated with metal fabrication shops. Occasionally visit customer sites to evaluate projects, which may require moving above, below, over and around stationary objects. This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Associate degree in quality assurance or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Minimum 5 years demonstrated work experience.

NDE level 2 certs. MT, PT & Film Interpretation.

Experience with section VIII Div.1 codes.

CWI certification preferred.

Familiar with D1.1, B31.1 & B31.3.

Familiar with section I codes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

APPLICATIONS ENGINEER: PAY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

The Applications Engineer serves as primary technical liaison with customers, sales representatives, vendors, and any other internal departments regarding current or new applications for product

Manage the customer from quote to shipped job.

Design piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) control schematics as they apply to process equipment and controls design.

Manage and develop document submittals and schedules for project, as necessary.

Work with drafting to get an accurate set of manufacturing prints.

Work with purchasing and suppliers to get the correct parts specified and purchased.

Work with Shop Personnel and management on alternate designs.

Develop new products using sound engineering judgment.

Interpret and apply codes and standards as they relate to process equipment design.

Work with customers and sales representatives to develop designs and resolve problems.

The outside Sales Representative will establish contact with existing customers, identify new opportunities, and follow up on potential leads within the United States territory.

Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients.

Work closely with Inside Sales Representatives to respond to customer inquiries and provide market feedback to Sales Manager on upcoming projects and large opportunities.

Update client information in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.

Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.

Maintain and expand client database within your territory.

Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.

Solid Works experience or recent training in AutoCad.

Minimum 5 years related experience or training in a manufacturing environment.
