FADCO, Inc is seeking a Millwork Estimator.
FADCO, Inc. is a premium grade architectural millwork subcontractor. We specialize in the design, production and installation of millwork products for commercial markets.
A Millwork Estimator is responsible for estimating costs, based on time, labor and material forecasts, and preparing written responses to client specifications and requests for proposals for large and/or complex projects in compliance with FADCO, Inc. policies, capabilities and standards. Our ideal candidate would start out assisting our current estimators and grow into a full time estimator.
Good knowledge of millwork and casework construction and production principles, techniques and materials is required.

FADCO - Job Performance Requirements
The successful millwork estimator must have the ability to do the following:
1. Read, interpret, and understand architectural drawings and specification documents
2. Review drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work
3. Generate material take-off lists and costs
4. Obtain bids from vendors on specialty items
5. Understand estimating and production as they relate to shop drawings, material yield, and labor
6. Ability to interpret architectural prints and specs, takeoff information, and any additional information from sales to properly communicate customer expectations to production
7. Be familiar with cabinet construction and drawing requirements to adhere to the industry's governing bodies (AWI, QCP, LEED, FSC, etc.)
8. Willingness to contribute above daily tasks to help company to meet tight deadlines

Estimating: 1 year (Preferred)
