Seeking an experienced plumbers (journeymen and apprentices) to install and maintain numerous types of piping systems. Someone who is aware of building regulations and safety standards and works to make sure these standards are upheld. Prefer someone with knowledge of local regulations for plumbing. Looking for someone who can craft, install, or repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures for heating, water, or drainage systems. Must have an active journeyman license in Oklahoma. This is travel work in Broken Bow, per diem, and housing will be offered. This project is expected to last around 6 months. This is not a training position. Must have experience and a journeyman or apprentice license in OK or a state is allowed to reciprocate.
Responsibilities
Unloading and carrying materials to the jobsite
Installation of pipe and fittings for copper, cast iron, and PVC/CPVC pipes, and for drain, sewer, and gas lines
Utilizing hand tools and cutters to cut pipe to desired lengths and electric and hand threaders to thread pipe
Installing fittings and components above and in ground
Length of Assignment: 6 months
Qualifications
Minimum two-three years of experience
In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems
Understanding of the current regulations within the field
Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Tools of the trade and ability to bring them to jobsites
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Active Oklahoma journeyman license or apprentice license
This position does not afford training
