RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Beaverton, OR that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer.
Responsibilities:
In this role, the Senior Data Engineer will partner to design and develop generic DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines from early stages of the lifecycle
Work with GIT repos and organize code accordingly and as per best practices
Understand template based development in developing scripts
Define Jenkins pipeline to work with AWS compute services
Partner to driving continuous improvement to both the DevOps pipelines and processes, and to the Information tools, services, and processes
As Senior Data Engineers choose and deploy the appropriate automated tools, it is their responsibility to make users aware of how to make the most of application features
Understand project requirements and incorporate it into the scripts to deploy new development components
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with auto deploy to AWS instances
Experience with Kubernetes
AWS Cloudformation experience
Terraform experience
Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
