Join a long-standing, reputable Northwest-based company in the construction/development industry, as an Accountant! The Accountant is responsible for accurately reporting financial findings for each site location to Board members. Process payments and prepare annual financial documents. We are looking for a full-time or part-time employee.
What will you do?
Support all teams in our regional office while providing world class customer service to everyone you interact with!
What will you be doing?
- Maintain books for each site location
- Establish and maintain site location bank accounts
- Execute reserve fund investments, as directed by the Board
- Maintain owner files electronically
- Prepare financial statements for Board of Directors
- Coordinate documentation for annual financial review
- Coordinate for annual tax preparation and file returns
- Assist site locations in preparing annual budgets
- Arrange for annual reserve studies or updates
- Process A/R and A/P
- Facilitate the collection of past due accounts according to each site location policies
What qualifications are there for this position?
- 3-4+ years of accounting experience required
- 5+ years of customer service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Appfolio software is a plus, but will train
- Accurate word processing up to 85 words p/m
- Proficient, accurate data entry
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
