Epic Property Management specializes in the management of quality affordable housing communities in Central Oregon. The Property Accountant role is a key role on the Finance team, managing accounting activities related to their property portfolio.
The Property Accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely tracking of financial information related to the performance of their assigned portfolio. This oversight will include Cash Management, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll cost allocations, and the General Ledger for each property. Responsibilities will include the production of a variety of financial reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
The ideal candidate has:
Three years or more of hands-on accounting experience.
Accrual accounting experience highly preferred.
High school diploma/GED.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and banking requirements.
Excellent multi-tasking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate clearly in person, in writing and by telephone.
Strong level of customer service, attention to detail, organization, and follow through to completion.
Proficient in performing data entry in multiple programs and 10- key by touch.
Strong computer skills and mathematical aptitude, including Excel skills.
Ability to operate standard office equipment.
Valid Driver's License and insurance required.
Background Check and Drug Screening required.
