PrideStaff, a firm specializing in recruiting for Central Oregon businesses is currently seeking a Staff Accountant for an established business headquartered in Bend, OR. The Staff Accountant for this position will have experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and month end journal entries. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday and full benefits. Job responsibilities of Staff Accountant:
Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies
Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
Assist in the development of budgeting
Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
Manage fixed assets
Balance sheet account reconciliation
Property and tax returns support
Other Duties as assigned
Job Requirements of Staff Accountant:
Bachelors degree required
Excellent accounting background and knowledge of accounting and finance compliance, month end closing, general ledger, budgeting, accruals, forecasting, financial analysis.
Hands on experience and proficiency with MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Enjoying working in a open area team environment
Self-starter
Recent and relevant experience with general ledger accounting

High attention to detail for accuracy
Strong interpersonal communication skills both written and oral as well as problem-solving skills
Supervision: This position will not supervise others.
Basic Working Conditions: The employee must have their own method of dependable transportation and work full time during normal business hours Monday through Friday.
Overtime and work on weekends as needed initially.
