Position Description
Job Title: Staff Accountant - Mount Bachelor Village, Bend
Reporting: Director of Finance
Position: Exempt
Department: Accounting
Purpose:
The staff accountant will be responsible for the day to day financial responsibilities, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Bank Account Management, and General Ledger Account Reconciliation. Knowledgeable experience in accounting software is preferred.
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business, or equivalent work experience
Two years of staff accountant experience
Excellent verbal and written communication
Reliable transportation
Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
Invoicing/Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable: generate 1099s at year-end
Prepare bank deposits and reconcile accounts
Payroll
Process and Audit Credit Card Receipts
Calculate Transient Room Taxes
Follow and execute a monthly closing process for each property under management
Examine reports for accuracy and completeness
Previous experience with Quickbooks, Yardi, V12, ADP preferred
Fundamental knowledge of Accounting principles
Other duties as assigned

Some weekends and holidays required. Flexible schedule required.
