TITLE: Staff Accountant
LOCATION: Jefferson County School District 509J, Madras Oregon
POSITION: 1.0 FTE
START DATE: Soon as possible
DAYS: 260 Days a year (including holiday/vacation)
SALARY RANGE: $63,564-$71,926
POSITION:
The job of Staff Accountant is done for the purpose/s of maintaining efficient operations of the general ledger accounting system, by collecting and recording financial information and by providing internal and external support for audit and regulatory reporting. The Staff Accountant assists in the completion of routine forms and reports which are largely financial in orientation and performs related duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelorâs degree required in Accounting, Business or Finance. Equivalent experience specializing in Accounting may be considered.
Experience: Minimum three to five years of general accounting experience required. Experience in public education preferred.
