This is a contract position paying $23/hr!Responsibilities Include:Serves as the primary administrator for the health system's electronic contract repository systemIntakes requests for new contracts to be drafted or reviewed, or existing contracts to be terminated, amended, or supplemented.Forwards contracts to the health system's attorneys and others for drafting, review, or amendment.Ensures contracts are correctly activated in the contract repository system with all supporting documentation.Interacts in a professional, courteous and helpful manner to inquiries from contract requests about the status of contract reviews or negotiations, the details of the contract review process, and related questions.Generates and supplies lists of contracts, as well as individual contracts, to caregivers and others who request the same.Registers new users into, and removes departed or transitioned users from, the electronic contract repository system, as necessary and appropriate.Serves as the primary administrator for the health system's electronic signature systemUses the electronic signature system and other tools to ensure that all contracts are properly signed by all contracting parties in a timely manner.Performs routine maintenance and clean up on the files in the electronic contract repository system and electronic signature system to minimize redundancies and errors in the systems.Acts as liaison between contracted legal counsels performing contracts review on behalf of the health systemManages the file sharing account between contracted legal counsels and the health systemManages shared Contracts Mailbox.Updates Certificates of Insurance in a timely manner as received via email, inter-office mail or other.Creates lists of contracts that are nearing their expiration dates or are otherwise in need of amendment, extension, termination, or other action.Works with the vendors of the electronic contracts repository system and the electronic signature system to maximize the efficiency, affordability, and usefulness of those systems.Works to identify and implement improvements to the health system's contracting processes.Prepares for review by the health system's lawyers such termination letters, template agreements, amendments, and other legal documents as the lawyers may request, from time to time.Requests current Certificates of Insurance for requiring contracts from the health system's insurance brokers.Confirms validity of subpoenas with an attorney and disseminates to appropriate caregivers, supervisors and providers.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (college-level classes in the law, paralegal studies, database management, or similar fields preferred)Minimum of three (3) years experience working as a paralegal, administrative assistant, or similar professional (experience working in a law firm, health system or hospital preferred)Valid Oregon driver's licenseAbility to travel to business functions/trainings/meetings at different work sites across Central OregonParalegal certification preferredApply by emailing resume to jmalyche@aerotek.com!
