Position Reports Too:

Engineering Manager

Work with a team of seven R&D Engineers

Position Overview:

Methanol feedstock mixing to support hydrogen generator testing, assist with some mechanical and electrical assembly (under supervision), conduct operational testing of hydrogen generators, other tasks as needed from time to time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Methanol feedstock mixing to support daily operation.

Basic assembly of some electrical systems and mechanical systems with supervision and direction.

Perform incoming parts inspection, testing and qualification of components for inventory, and parts preparation for assembly.

Perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) on e1 equipment.

Collect data resulting from equipment operation.

Maintain a clean, professional, safe shop environment and follow company safety policies.

Position requires flexible work hours on occasion.

Qualifications

Knowledge:

Education: Technical AA degree (engineering or equivalent), or a combination of education and experience.

Work Experience: Minimum of 2-years work experience in a shop environment using hand tools. Assembly of product a plus.

Skills:

Mechanical / Electrical Assembly: Adept at working with tools for simple electrical and mechanical assembly, power tools, drills, grinders, etc. Ability to cut and prep parts per supplied drawings. A basic understanding of electrical systems is a plus.

Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate within a team. Responsible for understanding the objectives, the parameters, and executing the plan.

Teamwork Skills: Demonstrated ability to be a productive group member within a close-knit, highly experienced, multi-disciplinary team. Reliable, considerate, good listener, ability to speak up and offer ideas and suggestions. Goal-oriented.

MS Office suite. Basic Word, Excel, and Outlook ability.
