pflücke offers a unique NW twist on the annual tradition of Oktoberfest, where we gather by the pfire year round to celebrate people, connect with one another, and pfeast on inspiring foods paired with and made with a mix of Bavarian and local cheer.
Rooted in Bend’s thriving microbrewery culture, our menu will include Bavarian, Northwest, and globally inspired entrees, salads, and specialty dishes, based on rotating flights of local beer, cider and alcoholic beverages.
We are a new local, pfämily-owned and operated, inspired start-up in Bend’s NW Crossing Restaurant Row. We are currently seeking Line Cooks!
We are looking for enthusiastic self-starters to excel in our fast-paced kitchen, and to work with other members of the culinary team in finding a balance between a sense of urgency, attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Our greater team and our vision at pflücke, require from its members, positive and effective communications, with all hands on deck as we collaborate to build and achieve a “ONE” culture between the front and back of the house.
Applicants must be available to work together to cover mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays (except Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day). The bar of quality in our space will be measured with the five senses, engaged in a warm and playful dining experience.

Qualifications / Experience Required:
Solid previous kitchen experience
Solid knife skills, and solid experience with use and care of commercial kitchen equipment
A willingness to problem solve, learn and grow with input from our Sous Chefs and consulting Executive Chef
An eagerness to work in a collaborative and customer engaged environment
High level communications skills and a healthy respect for the diversity of others
A commitment to the highest standards of health code, cleanliness, and safety
ServSafe® Food Manager Training & Certification is a plus.
Experience with opening a restaurant is a plus.
Experience with sausage making is a plus.
General Responsibilities:
Scheduled scratch kitchen food prep to meet the needs of estimated par levels
Station prep, working stations, and working hot/cold lines
Support with quality control systems - 3 phase + right to return meals prepared improperly
Compliance with workspace mapping & portion control
Daily inventory / par checks for food & supply
Support with precision & consistent execution (according to recipes)
Deep cleaning, daily care and upkeep of commercial kitchen equipment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours), with breaks.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally lift/move 50 lbs.
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
