The Hari Homestead is a small, locally owned company with 3 Adult Foster Homes, one in Redmond and two in Prineville. We are currently hiring a caregiver position in Prineville. (See available schedule options below)
We are seeking candidates who are fun and energetic, and who:

-Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.
-Will be able to exhibit patience and compassion when dealing with residents, family members, coworkers, and visitors.
-Who can have fun, be goofy, and work as a team to provide a loving home environment for our residents and a rewarding and supportive work environment for each other.
-Who are self-motivated and can work semi-autonomously through the night.
We specialize in seniors with Alzheimers and dementia who need our full, hands-on attention. Our houses each have 5 residents and 2 or more caregivers, 24 hours a day so you will never find yourself alone or without support.
We have relentlessly high standards for how our residents are cared for and want to make them (and you!) feel at home. Duties include cleaning, cooking, toileting, administering medications, assisting residents and tucking them back into bed, hugging, smiling, etc. We care as much about our residents quality of life as we do about every other aspect of their care. We do not look or feel like those big facilities on the hill. We are committed to being better than the rest and improving the standard of care for all seniors in Central Oregon.
Job Requirements:
-Can communicate in English.
-Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
-Can pass a criminal background check.
-18+ years old.
-Able to work 8+ hours without a smoke break.
-Available to work the below schedule:
16 hours per week:
Saturday 6am-10pm
Additional shifts can be added up to 40 hours per week.

Salary: $10.75 to $12.00 /hour depending on experience
