We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team and serve residents in both our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. As an LPN, you will have the daily opportunity to make a positive difference in someone else's life! By taking on responsibilities such as working closely with the caregiving and medication aide staff; administering medications and performing treatments per physician's orders as needed; assisting the care team and the Life Enrichment team with activities; answering calls lights and resident ADLs; and working with the care team to develop resident care plans, you will ensure that each resident receives the highest level of care and attention.
The ideal candidate will:

Have graduated from an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses and be currently licensed in the state of Oregon
Be willing to learn and model the Best Friend's Approach to dementia care and practice being a "Best Friend" to each resident
Be willing to be on-call and provide assistance to medication aides and caregivers when needed
Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
Be proficient with computers, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff and visitors
If selected, candidates must be willing to submit to and receive favorable results on past employer and personal reference checks, criminal background checks, and drug test.
