High Lakes Health Care is an outpatient primary & specialty care practice. We are recruiting a Medical Assistant who will be responsible for clinical duties in assisting physicians with patient care. The incumbent will collaborate with patients and their families to help patients fully benefit from their health care services. Our Medical Assistants are a crucial piece within our patients' care team.
A successful candidate is highly engaged, motivated, dependable, and has a passion for delivering quality and responsible health care in our community.

Education: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED), medical assistant diploma from an accredited vocational institution, or a community college course in medical assisting.
Certification: If you are not certified as a medical assistant, we do offer a path to certification as long as you have either 1) Graduated from a medical assisting program or 2) Have a minimum of one year on-the-job medical assisting experience and training.
