Shevlin Sand and Gravel is currently hiring a full-time loader operator for our location in NW Bend.
Job duties include:
Operation of CAT 980H front-end wheel loader to load-out customer trucks in a timely and efficient manner.
Use of on-board scale system to load accurate and legal weights onto trucks (will train, but basic computer/technology skills are a must).
Assist in stockpiling material while crusher is in operation.
Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed.
Basic maintenance of equipment.
Other duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience.
Ability to safely and efficiently operate equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees.
Ability to maintain positive interactions under stressful situations.
Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance (oil changes, greasing, etc.) and reporting needed repairs.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Experience with rock crushers, screens, and other aggregate equipment a plus.
