Wildland Firefighters Needed
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - TRAINING STARTS WED 8/4
WOMEN encouraged to apply
All applicants must be able to
pass a physical aptitude test (carry a 45lb pack for 3 miles and complete it in less than 45minutes)
pass an illegal drug test
complete training starting 8/4 in La Pine
2 positions available for work starting immediately following training
Additional positions available starting within the next 2 weeks
YOU will not be placed on a "call list" like many of the larger companies. We are looking to put some folks to work now.
Requirements for wildland firefighting:
You will be required to leave our La Pine base for assignments that will last up to 16 days with 2 days off and then back at it again until fire season ends. All food and camping arrangements are provided. You will need to provide the following (tent, sleeping bag, fire boots) More details provided with your reply to this ad.
Fenix Forestry llc has been in the fire business for 32 years. We look for employees that take pride in their work and accomplishments. If you are a trained firefighter or rookie, we will offer you the opportunity to make some great money this season. Payment is hourly plus overtime and benefits Most employees make between 250 to 325 a day depending on experience.
