Newport Ave Landscaping is looking to hire an irrigation technician for this upcoming season. Opportunity to work year round doing snow removal.
Duties:
Landscape irrigation installation
Troubleshooting
Repairing and maintaining valves, tracing electrical components, install and initializing clocks and timers, locating existing zones and valves, and performing pump repairs
Spring evaluations and start-up
Winterization and blow-out
Gather and update historical data for each account regarding water sources, point of connection and main line location, service performed and parts installed
Customer interactions
Requirements:
2+ years of verifiable irrigation tech. experience with a licensed landscaping company.
knowledge of irrigation system and repair
Valid and clean ODL
Ability to pass drug test & background check
Available 40+ hrs per week for the 8-9 month landscaping season
Any college education is a plus
Must be able to work alone, utilize proper time management and have good customer relation skills.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to walk a great amount of distance
Math and writing skills
Basic knowledge of using ipad.
