A&P Mechanic Duties:
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot airframe, engine and basic avionics.
Read and comprehend aircraft service manuals
Perform composite retrofits and repairs
Organize and assist in shop efficiency improvements
Work with management to ensure jobs are completed on-time
Document and maintain discrepancy logs for individual aircraft
Work hours in excess of 40 hours per week may be required at times
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
Experience with Pratt and Whitney turboprop engines preferred
Experience with Continental and Lycoming engines preferred
Experience with composite materials preferred
Self-motivated
Problem Solver
Ability to follow written/verbal instructions
Physically be able to lift up to 100 lbs
Physically be able to work in tight/uncomfortable spaces at times
