Job Title: Stainless Surface Finish Technician

Location: Bend, OR

Wage: $15-$19hr/D.O.E.

Benefits: 80hrs of Sick & PTO(each), 401K(with employer match) and Health Insurance after 90 days. Company paid outings, fun work environment, good tools, good people building equipment for the cannabis, brewery and pharmaceutical industries. WE DO NOT DRUG TEST FOR CANNABIS.

General shop help needed, this is your chance to get in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing company. We have NEVER LAID OFF AN EMPLOYEE because lack of work! Must send resume to be considered.

Job Description: Cut, grind, polish, passivate stainless steel equipment, with a primary focus on A.S.M.E. vessel fabrication. Wood working a plus.

Long term potential to learn additional skills including welding, fabrication, mill and lathe operation and more. No prior experience necessary, just the desire to work hard and ability to learn.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

Able to work quickly and skillfully with the hands.

Accept responsibility for the work performed.

Visualize what the finished product should look like.

Operate cutting, grinding and finishing equipment with skill.

Experience working with Stainless Steel/Aluminum.

Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.

Keep work area clean and organized at all times.

Prepare required documentation accurately and timely, including work orders, parts lists and time cards.

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of equipment and product technology.

Read and interpret instruction manual and pertinent literature.

Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Possess the ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Possess the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Small hand tool maintenance

Communicate in a courteous and effective manner with customers and/or co-workers.

Maintain Satisfactory Attendance. 40+ hours a week.

Present with cleanliness, punctuality and a pleasant attitude

Maintain health, a safe working environment and observe all safety laws, policies and rules

Work overtime when needed

Be quality & Production Oriented

Other Skills and Abilities:

Able to operate a mill and lathe a plus but not required.

Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Prior Gantry crane use preferred but not required. Training provided.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles “Hexavalent Chromium” and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Willing to travel if necessary.

Work Environment includes but not limited to indoor shop and field. While working in the field one must being able to work on all weather conditions common in the Central Oregon area.

Preemployment Requirements:

Applicant must submit to a preemployment drug screening and random drug testing.
