There are definite ebbs and flows in the business. You must be able to work quickly during the busy times, and manage your time to complete tasks, execute marketing tasks, as well as fine tune procedures during the down times.

If you get bored and job hop every year or 2, this is not the right position for you. There is significant training involved, and there needs to be a commitment to the business.
Required skills:Answering phones, scanning documents then labeling and attaching to the agency management system, replying to emails, servicing existing client needs in various systems. Gather information from incoming new client calls. Must be comfortable in a paperless environment, with basic spread sheets, word and PDF docs. Marketing experience would be helpful. From print/email newsletters to social media updates, but not mandatory.
Must be able to uphold strict confidentiality rules.
Must be able to pass a background check, and drug test. Absolutely no drugs or smoking.
Experience in the insurance industry is a not required.
This is a growing insurance agency and there are many opportunities available to the right person. If you have the desire to be in sales and grow your own book of business, this would be a great intro into that.

Salary: $14.00 to $20.00+ plus possible commissions for the right person. PTO and health insurance.
