We are a small but established plumbing company with a great team. This is an excellent opportunity for an office professional with bookkeeping and QuickBooks experience. Construction/plumbing/heating/electrical office experience is a plus!
The Office Manager/Bookkeeper is responsible for performing accounting entries in QuickBooks, proposal write-ups, and scheduling as well as providing general office support to the leads, and owner. Our work week is generally 25-35 hours and the schedule is flexible. Please see below for a list of duties:
Perform A/R and A/P
Create client T&M invoices on a monthly basis and deposit client payments
Reconcile bank statements and collect and record credit card receipts
Perform monthly payroll calculations and pay employee reimbursements
Create client contracts
Assist the Project Managers with creating clear estimates for clients in Quickbooks
Perform or be willing to learn monthly Department of Revenue tax payment filings
File year-end 1099s
Create quarterly P&L report and pay quarterly payroll taxes as calculated by our outside payroll agency
Requirements:
Minimum of two years working with QuickBooks
Basic knowledge of debits and credits and financial reports (Profit & Loss, etc.)
Self-disciplined. Ability to work autonomously without supervision
Ability to meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadlines for payroll and tax filings
Construction/Plumbing experience is preferred, but we can teach someone with a bookkeeping background
