PART-TIME BIKE MECHANIC WANTED
The Bend REI Bike shop is hiring a part-time bike tech. Primary responsibilities include the assembly and maintenance of bikes to REI and vendor standards delivering extraordinary service to customers both in the shop and on the retail floor.
Primary requirements include:
Minimum three years of bike tech experience
Experience assembling and repairing bikes including bleeding hydraulic brakes and performing suspension service
Assessing customer needs and confirming service and product meets those needs
Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays
Ability to work well with customers as a service advisor and in a retail setting
Computer skills and POS aptitude
Snowsports technical experience is desirable
