Job Description:
A family-owned business operating in Central Oregon for nearly 70 years is seeking a qualified lab technician to join their team to perform testing on product samples to determine compliance with regulation standards, among other duties.
Job Duties:
Daily Lab Duties Include:
Plating and reading plates.
Butter fat testing of products.
Sample collection of finished products.
Verification of instruments in production.
Monitoring of incubator and refrigeration temperatures.
ATP swabbing.
Clean and sanitize lab equipment.
Other Lab Duties:
Environmental monitoring and testing.
Packaging and sending out product samples.
Sanitation inspections.
Preferred Requirements
Experience working in food industry/manufacturing.
Previous experience working in a lab setting.
College degree.
