Title: Home Performance Consultant - In-home sales of energy efficiency upgrades for a leading contractor

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We're looking for an all-star team member to join our home assessment and sales team. Home Performance Consultants represent GreenSavers in all front-end customer interactions - from the initial home assessment to contract signing and payment. This is a primary in-home sales position, where you will use our data-driven, consultative approach to offer unique and effective solutions to address our clients comfort, efficiency, and home health and safety needs.

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete estimates and home energy audits. Build rapport with clients while evaluating their motivation and budget. Collection and recording of data related to building and executing project scope.

Generate Home Performance Report and Project Proposals.

Complete paperwork for cash incentives, financing, or other documentation.

Meet with homeowners to review the Project Proposal, confirm the scope and pricing, then secure signature to complete work.

Hand off project to production team. Ensure that hand-off information accurately reflects the work scope, materials, and pricing specified on the signed Project Proposal.

Answer any project-related questions for the Project Manager or production team.

Consistently update CRM to track client and project progress.

Review sales pipeline with Operations Manager on a regular basis.

Respond to all clients in a prompt and professional manner.

Perform post-install quality assurance as needed.

IDEAL REQUIREMENTS (If you are missing a couple of these, but think you have what it takes, you are welcome to apply)

- Experience: Ideally 3 years of demonstrated success in sales or customer service role.

- Great people skills

- Clear communication: Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Can-do attitude: Step up to meet challenges. Strive to continuously improve.

- Team Player: We work together very closely.

- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.

- Computer Literacy: Familiarity with common operating systems, web browsers, and Excel-style spreadsheets is mandatory for success.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

- BPI Certification

- Bachelor's Degree or further education

- Experience in Construction, Home Maintenance, or Energy Optimization

- Demonstrated success in an in-home sales position
