Configuration Technician
PrideStaff, a firm specializing in recruiting for Central Oregon businesses, is seeking a Verifone Configuration Tech for a short-term project in Prineville, Oregon with a well-established company.
The ideal candidate for this position will have Software and firmware updating experience and be highly detailed. This is a great immediate contract position set to last through April, M-F 7am-4pm. Pay is $15-17 per hour DOE.

Responsibilities of the Verifone Configuration Tech:
Responsible for a POS Verifone update project
Follow instructions to perform a system update on device correctly the first time
Software Management including installations and firmware updates
Clean, prepare and package devices for shipment
Work in a fast-paced and highly detailed environment
Other duties as assigned
Requirements of the Verifone Configuration Tech:
IT or computer science experience is preferred
Tech savvy
Positive attitude when communicating with team members
High attention to detail for accuracy
Strong written and oral communication skills
2 professional references
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite
Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Confidentiality: This position will handle confidential information that belongs to our clients.
Supervision: This position will not supervise employees.
Basic Working Conditions: The employee must have their own method of dependable transportation and work full time during normal business hours Monday through Friday. The employee must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and will be exposed to the outside elements as needed. The employee will frequently reach, bend, push, pull, twist, and lift up 25lbs throughout the day.
