Growing startup seeking head of SW development
Looking for a Senior Developer / CTO to lead our product development and round out our leadership team. This is a ground-floor opportunity for a software professional both able to code and established in their career looking to make their mark on a new product that they too can ultimately call their own.
We are already disrupting the endodontic dental specialty market with a cloud/web/saas dental practice management solution and a growing list of customers that rely on our product to run their practices. And it's just the beginning, as we look to dominate our current market and expand through periodontics to general dentistry. We are a real business focused on earning our customers' business and not on courting new funding. We are self-funded, have a working solution that is generating revenue and growing, and live within our means. Current compensation for the leadership team is predominantly equity with a nominal monetary portion. We are all committed to enjoying success as we earn it.
To be clear, we are not looking for an employee. We are instead looking for a person who possesses the passion, motivation, maturity, and competency necessary to complement our executive leadership team and join us in continuing to build a successful company. Our executive team includes a wide range of expertise, and all of us 'roll up our sleeves' and dig in to get the work done. We are looking for a senior-level developer with hands-on coding abilities on the front-end, back-end, and who can bring their own unique expertise and passion to the team and help take our development to the next level.
If after meeting and learning about one another it looks like it could be a good fit, we would begin with a 'getting to know one another' phase, with the goal of adding in company stock compensation so you can join us as a shareholder if we find we indeed make excellent partners.
We are flexible and open to a variety of arrangements including part time, telecommuting, etc., for the right person. We're looking for maturity, enthusiasm, self-reliance, and professionalism, someone upon whom we can build another pillar of our business. It is ideal if you can periodically connect with me in-person here in Bend, Oregon, but this is not required.
